No, we’re not color blind nor are we confused. We know that this dress is not black or brown! LBD stands for Little Brown Dress, which was the name of our first edition of the dress. The dress was so successful that we released it in other colors, however, the name LBD remained. The success of the dress is partly due to the wonderful comfortable blend of Tencel, cotton and Spandex. The LBD is an indispensable basic item, in a classic, elegant Schnitt. The dress has beautiful high-necked neckline, a beautiful fitted bodice and the darts on the front and back of the skirt have a flattering effect on our female forms. At the back the neckline dips down slightly and there is a split in the skirt so you’re not limited in your movements. Our new LBD is a classic female basic dress in beautiful colors!
We have a dress for everyone, but that doesn’t mean that every dress is for everyone. Because we are all different, this dress is designed for smaller ladies. If you are taller than 1.70 meters, we invite you to try on this model in one of our stores first.
As BANNOU is a socially and environmentally responsible brand, each BANNOU comes with a Sustainability Pyramid Tag that shows you how green your piece exactly is. This way we keep things transparent and honest towards you. The Tokyo Dress is made from a Tencel/Cotton/Spandex mix that deserves a spot in Level 2 of our Sustainability Pyramid. BANNOU items are made in a sewing atelier in Romania under supervision of our founder.
To keep your dress looking perfect for as long as possible, we always recommend the dry cleaner, but if you choose to use the washing machine, please note the following points: 1] wash inside out 2] in a large laundry bag 3] cold 4] on the wool program without tumble-drying 5] the shortest wash  as possible, 6] the lowest speed possible and 7] wash separately. Do not rub or wring the fabric when wet. This way you can be sure that the wood fibers of the Tencel will remain looking their very best!
